We offer a variety of group classes on both a rotating and set schedule. Every class provides powerful training tools and can be a useful supplement to your personalized training program. If you would like a personalized program, our excellent team of teachers offer private and duet lessons which are pre-scheduled and depend on when you and your teacher can meet.

PILATES MAT CLASSES
MIXED LEVEL
$12 drop-in. Package and bundle discounts may be purchased through the teacher of your class. See class listing above.

Pilates mat classes combine the core strength, flexibility, and toning of Pilates with personalized movement analysis. As a beginner, you will be introduced to the basic Pilates concepts and exercises while addressing any rehabilitation needs that may prevent you from moving into a more advanced practice. Every 4 weeks the focus of the class changes based on you and your classmates' needs to ensure that a variety of needs are met. Mats are not provided, but all other props are.

BEGINNER LEVEL
$60 for 6 classes.

This six-week series is for beginners or for students who need a refresher in the basics. It focuses on the fundamentals of Pilates Mat exercises. It will prepare you to attend mixed level mat classes. An overview of the series will be handed out at the first class and will include suggestions for at-home exercises that correspond with each week’s lesson. Pilates promotes proper postural alignment and physical well being by developing core strength, flexibility, and muscle tone. Pre-registration is required. Mats are provided.

PILATES REFORMER CLASSES
INTERMEDIATE LEVEL
$25 per class. Package and bundle discounts may be purchased through the teacher of your class.

Group Reformer Classes take place on the Pilates apparatus called the Reformer. The class flows with a sequence of exercises that use the springs, pulleys, and straps of the machine to assist or resist all movements. These classes are a great way to build on concepts learned in mat classes and to advance workouts for students who are familiar with the Reformer. Reformer classes require that you first go through three private lessons to learn equipment safety & the basic exercises before entering the group setting. Class size is limited to four. Call, email, or sign-up at The Fix prior to attending class.

Dance Classes
FUNDAMENTALS OF ARGENTINE TANGO
$15 drop in, $25 drop in for Fundamentals and Intermediate class. Package and bundle discounts may be purchased through the teacher of your class.

The technique of the fundamentals of the lead and follow of tango will be covered. Included are: back and front ochos, giros, walking, the cross, boleos, the embrace. The intermediate class utilizes the skills learned in this class.

INTERMEDIATE TANGO
$15 drop in, $25 drop in for Fundamentals and Intermediate class. Package and bundle discounts may be purchased through the teacher of your class.

The focus will be on teaching tiny gems that you can add to your dance to make it more interesting and to add depth. The technique learned in fundamentals will be stressed as well.

TANGO PRACTICA
Free with attendance of a Tango class, $5 drop-in.

This is your time to either dance or to take what you learned and work on it. Daniel and/or Jackie and assistants will be available to answer any questions.

TANGO MILONGA
$10 - $25.

Milongas are open to all levels, include live music or a DJ, and food and beverages.

WEST COAST SWING
$3 for class, $5 for the dance.

West coast swing with a touch of tango. 8-8:30 is a lesson on taking the first step: all about the ONE. The lesson is followed by mostly west coast swing music with tango sprinkled in. Visit dancingwithjoy.net for more information.

WEST AFRICAN/EWE DANCE
$20.

Classes will teach students the west african dance compositions: Gahu (A celebration and rites of passage dance adopted from the Yoruba people of Nigeria by the Ewe people of Ghana) and Agbekor (Warrior dance - as taught by the Ewe teachers from The Dagbe Cultural Center - Ghana, West Africa). These dances are for all levels of experience: simple enough for the beginner and engaging enough for the experienced dancer alike.

HIP HOP/JAZZ
$12.

This class gives students a fun, nonjudgmental way to learn the fundamentals of Hip-Hop/Jazz technique. Class will include a warm-up/stretch, across the floor and a dance combinations. If you want a light way to seriously learn, join us at the Fix! This class is designed for students who are age 9 or older. Teens and adults are welcome to come learn and get a good workout.

AFRO-CUBAN DANCE
$12 drop in,$80 for 8 classes

Experience the roots of Cuban culture through movement and music: syncopated, powerful, and sensual. Dances, rhythms, and songs from both religious and social traditions: Yoruba, Palo, Arará, Rumba and so many more. www.GrupoPaloSanto.com.

Fusion Fitness Classes
ZUMBA
$9 drop in, $75 10 classes.

Zumba is a fusion of Latin dance moves and aerobic stepping. The class is set to Latin and world music with motivating beats. Class starts with simple patterns of steps and over the course of class builds on those patterns. This is a fun and energetic class guaranteed to get your heart pumping! First class is free for new students.

HOOP FIT AND FLOW
$15 drop in.

Think you can't hula hoop, think again. Hula hooping is back and better than ever!!! The new larger, weighted hoops create success for everyone. Regardless of age, size or rhythmic ability, hooping is an activity that most everyone can enjoy. It's a low impact, high cardio activity that strengthens your core, tones your entire body, increases energy and flexibility and is so much FUN you won't want to stop! We will introduce dynamic flow and new moves that will take you beyond the basics in each class. This class is suitable for complete beginners to anyone who enjoys hooping and would like to learn more. Professional adult hula hoops will be provided for class (bring your own if you have one) and there will be hoops available to purchase. Space is limited, so be sure to reserve your space early. Drop ins are welcome - not encouraged.

Karate Classes
UECHIRYU ZANKYOKAI KARATE
$12 drop in, $60 one month unlimited classes.

Karate develops a healthy and strong, but soft and flexible approach to life. The original karate exercises (kata) develop softness, timing, the proper use of power, flexibility, resilience, balance and stability, in a controlled and healthy way. We maintain a class environment and teaching method that reflects and promotes these attributes. Classes are a cooperative effort to develop a healthy way of living. Children over 10 learn alongside adults with age-appropriate modifications. This is not a competition oriented form.

CHILDREN'S KARATE
$12 drop in, $60 one month unlimited classes.

Karate develops a healthy and strong, but soft and flexible approach to life. The original karate exercises (kata) develop softness, timing, the proper use of power, flexibility, resilience, balance and stability, in a controlled and healthy way. Yoga Classes
RESTORATIVE YOGA
FREE in January!

Restorative Yoga is a gentle form of yoga in which students go into few poses, but may spend anywhere from 5 to 15 minutes in a pose. Simple poses and support from props allow muscles to relax and tension to be released. Restorative Yoga can be deeply restful and calming. Mats provided.

STABILITY BALL


INTEGRATED CORE TRAINING WITH STABILITY BALL
$12 drop-ins. Package and bundle discounts may be purchased through the teacher of your class.

Integrated Core Training with Stability Balls is a holistic approach to fitness training, injury prevention, and movement re-education. Drawing on the latest sports medicine and sport performance concepts, participants will learn how to safely use stability balls and body weight exercises to realign posture, improve flexibility, strength and movement efficiency. Particular attention is paid to proper exercise technique, biomechanical alignment and muscle activation patterns.

Cardio & Body Sculpting
KETTLEBELL
$7 introduction, $14 mixed level. Package and bundle discounts may be purchased through the teacher of your class.

Kettlebell workouts have cardiovascular, resistance, and weight control benefits. Each lifts' multiplanar movements parallel the activities of daily living, and the emphasis on core strength makes it a safe progression to your Pilates and yoga classes. Classes begin with a dynamic warm up, followed by skills practice, and power endurance training. The introduction class is required, before starting any other kettlebell class.
