a pretty good sense of what works and what doesn't. As part of our services here at The Fix, we've decided to offer a small selection of our favorite products for sale via our website.

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates may be used on group classes in Pilates mat, karate, stretch, somatic movement, and Pilates apparatus private,semi-private, and independent lessons in rehabilitation and athletic training.
Gift certificates can also be used on retail.
Aeromat Pilates/Yoga Mat
The Aeromat is our favorite sticky mat. It is 1/4" thick making it more comfortable than other mats, but not so bulky that you can't roll it up and take it with you to class. It fits our tallest students at 24"x27", and it has an antibacterial finish. Straps not included. Available only in Black.
Foam Rollers
Foam Rollers are light-weight small props that can be used for stretching and strengthening. They can also be used to challenge stability, to improve body awareness, and for myofascial release. We commonly use the log and the boat at our studio. We carry both.
Gliders
Gliders transform standard exercise movements into smooth, graceful lines of flowing motion. At The Fix, we use these slick discs to make the transitions from one exercise to the other seamless. They can also add an aerobic component to your workout. To be used on hard wood floors.
Hot/Cold Packs
Made locally by a friend of The Fix, our rice filled Hot/Cold Packs can be put in the microwave to be used as a moist hot pack or in the fridge to cool you down. We recommend these to our students for everything from minor head aches to serious spasms and inflammation. A perk is the aroma of the hot rice. We currently carry an oblong shape appropriate for draping around your neck, low back, and the length of your spine.
Hot/Cold Packs
Also made locally by a friend of The Fix, these organic rice filled Hot/Cold Packs are microwave and fridge safe. Available in a variety of colors and 3 different shapes appropriate for use on your back, belly, sacrum, shoulder, and neck.
Magic Circle
The magic circle is a Pilates prop we use to target muscle groups that sometimes lag behind, especially inner thighs. 16.5" in diameter, it is made from tempered spring steel and padded wooden handles. We offer the heavy 4-band resistance spring circle for the most strength building capability. Our students have nicknamed it the Evil Oval.
Ultra Fit Circle
The Pilates Ultra-Fit Circle is the light version of our Magic
Circle. It is used to target muscle groups that
lag behind. Although it is famous for toning inner thighs and under arms, it can be used for a full body workout. 15" in diameter, it is made
of flexible plastic with a rubberized shell. It has padded
handles on the inside AND outside of the circle. You can
ask your Pilates teacher at The Fix to design an Ultra-Fit
Circle program specific to your needs.

Slomo Ball
Slomo Balls are strong, light, and inflate easily with a straw. We like them because they have wide inflation ranges (7"-10") so they can be used for everything from gentle support to abdominal work.
Stability Balls
Theraband brand stability balls are the best you can buy. Our studios Theraband brand stability balls have never been replaced due to wear and tear. We offer 3 sizes: Green (65cm) will fit just about anyone for most exercises, blue (75cm) we recommend if you are going to mostly be using it as a chair, and silver (85cm) if you are tall or if you need a bigger arc to protect your back during abdominal work. Pump not included.
Theraband
Therabands are used for resistive exercise, and provide both positive and negative force on muscle, mimicking the spring resistance used on the larger Pilates equipment. They are portable and perfect for practicing your studio workout at home or on the road. We offer several resistances that are color coded so you can easily track your progress. Listed lightest to heaviest. Each band is 4 feet long.
Reflex Balls
Reflex balls come in various sizes between 6-10 centimeters in diameter with prodruding spiky sensory points that help to increase circulation to different parts of your body. We use these balls for self massage especially for feet, backs, and gluts.
ToeSox
ToeSox seamlessly form to the contours of your foot while allowing your toes to separate, helping to increase the flexibility and strength in the muscles of your foot. Made from cotton, a natural fiber that breathes, ToeSox reduce moisture and friction between toes. Our favorite part about this sock is the non-slip sole. Sized to your shoe size.
Yak Trax
Yak Trax "walkers" are a set of gripping coils that provide traction when walking on ice or snow in winter months. They are made out of heavy-duty rubber and steel coils, and simulate walking on dry land even when braving the most treacherous winter weather conditions. They slip easily on and off and fit right over any style of boot or shoe. We recommend wearing Yak Trax to avoid winter weather related injuries including slipping and falling, ankle and knee strain from unstable surfaces and back strain from snow shoveling without foot traction.
